ALBANY — SUNY Polytechnic Institute made an impressive run in the U.S. News & World Report college rankings this year.
SUNY Poly, which was formed in 2014 with the merger of the University at Albany's College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering and SUNY IT in Utica, jumped from No. 122 on the list of regional universities in the Northeast to No. 18.
