Times Union: SUNY Poly seeking bids for Marcy chip fab project

SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Albany seeks a developer or contractor to build a 360,000-square-foot computer chip plant for ams AG of Austria at the Marcy Nanocenter near SUNY Poly's Utica campus. Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced plans in August to build the fab for ams, which makes analog chips used in sensors and other devices. Bids are due on Dec. 11.
