Title IX on the 9^th

SUNY Poly’s Title IX Working Group would like to notify the campus community that a campus climate survey will be distributed this month to SUNY Poly students, faculty and staff.

The purpose of the survey, which is voluntary and confidential, is to gather information about incidents of sexual violence and knowledge of policies and resources available on campus. SUNY Polytechnic Institute is committed to creating a learning and working environment free from sexual discrimination and your responses will help in the assessment of our progress towards that goal.  The information gathered will also be applied in our development of relevant trainings and programming for the 2017-2018 academic year.

While SUNY Poly has created and conducted its own climate surveys over the past three years, this version of the survey has been standardized and will be used uniformly across all SUNY schools.  A summary of the results will be made available to the campus community by July 1, 2017 as per Article 129-B “Enough is Enough” legislation.
