Time is running out for college students who want a shot at $100,000 in a state business plan competition.

More than 600 students from colleges and universities across New York state are expected to participate for the grand prize.

Teams must pitch their business idea to a panel of judges.

SUNY Poly’s Utica campus, Syracuse University, Ithaca College and Clarkson University are among the schools hosting the event.

The deadline for the regional semifinals is April 3.
