The Mohawk Valley Qualifier for the NYS Business Plan Competition was held at SUNYIT on April 4, 2014. 30 teams from 9 colleges competed for cash prizes and the opportunity to advance to the NYS final competition in Albany on April 25, 2014.

Two SUNYIT teams will join five teams from other MV colleges to represent the Mohawk Valley in Albany. The advancing SUNYIT teams are MABEL and the Core Group.

MABEL, 1st Place in the Biotechnology/Healthcare category - Kathaleene Riolo, Dario Cvijanovic, James Huchital and Ray Mashewske

The Core Group, 1st Place in the Energy/Sustainability category - Jeffrey Reed and Chris Pabis
