University Police are investigating a reported sexual assault that occurred in the early hours of November 9, 2014 in an Adirondack residence hall.  Both individuals were not SUNY Poly students.  The suspect, now identified by police, was not known to the victim.  It is not believed there is a current threat to others at this time and the University Police investigation is continuing.

Members of the university community are reminded to stay alert to their surroundings and always travel and/or visit with other people they know and trust.  University Police urges community members to be vigilant at all times, and to report any unusual circumstances or suspicious persons or activities to the University Police as soon as possible.
