As the summer opening of the Computer Chip Commercialization Center at SUNY Polytechnic Institute approaches, questions about who will work there and when there will be another recruitment drive have persisted.
A year ago, more than 1,700 people turned out for a job fair for the 1,500 jobs then expected at the site, but little was heard about what had happened with the job applications received.
