Dunkirk, NY (WBEN) - A major expansion by a company that produces oncology drugs is promising 1,400 new jobs in Western New York within the next five years.

Governor Andrew Cuomo was in Dunkirk Thursday to announce expansion plans for Athenex. The expansion includes locating the company's headquarters at the Conventus Building in Buffalo, as well as the creation of a 300,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Dunkirk.
