UTICA, N.Y. – Donors gifted nearly $75,000 to SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s College of Health Sciences for a synthetic cadaver to use for hands-on training. The silicone tool, called a SynDaver, is a life-sized anatomical model that simulates skeletal muscles, arteries, veins and nerves, as well as bones, joints, organs and tendons. The cadaver is meant to help students study on a tool the size and shape of a real human.
