Synergy in Partnerships, Advanced Research, and Knowledge (SPARK) Workshops
The Synergy in Partnerships, Advanced Research, and Knowledge (SPARK) Workshops bring together SUNY Poly faculty with external collaborators from industry, community organizations, and government and defense partners. Hosted annually by the Office of Research, SPARK workshops are organized around key research and technology areas — from health sciences and quantum/cybersecurity to advanced materials and manufacturing — giving faculty and partners a focused venue to connect around shared interests.
Through faculty and partner presentations, panels, one-on-one meetings, and poster sessions showcasing student and faculty research, SPARK workshops generate new industry and community collaborations, shape emerging research directions, and lay the groundwork for joint white papers and grant seeking.
