The Masters in Civil Engineering program is offered on-campus in Utica, NY with the potential of some courses being offered in an online synchronous option.
We offer full-time and part-time options to accommodate your schedule.


Full-Time (Thesis Track)

  • Fall 1: Core courses + electives (12 credits) 
  • Spring 1: Electives (9 credits)
  • Summer/Fall 2: Thesis (9 credits)
  • Total: 30 credits

Part-Time (Thesis Track)

  • Fall 1 & Spring 1: Core courses + electives (6 credits/semester)
  • Fall 2 & Spring 2: Electives + thesis (6 credits/semester)
  • Fall 3: Thesis (6 credits)
  • Total: 30 credits

For non-thesis plans, replace the thesis with additional coursework and a final project.
