Early Action Admission (Fall Only)
Early Action is a non-binding early application/notification program for freshmen/first-year students applying for fall admission.
Regular/Traditional Admission
Fall (August start): Available for both first-year/freshman and transfer applicants.
Spring (January start): Available for transfer applicants only.

Deferring Your Admission
International students may defer their admission one time, for up to one semester or one academic year, without a new application fee. All deferment requests must be submitted on or before the first day of classes to the Office of International Admissions at international@sunypoly.edu.
Important Notices
- Requests submitted after classes begin will not be granted and instead require a new application to be submitted. View the SUNY Poly academic calendars for semester dates.
- First-year undergraduate programs begin in the fall term only and cannot be deferred to a spring start.
