Andrew Cotronea

As a native of the Rome-Utica area, Andrew Cotronea serves as Associate Director of CSTEP at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. In this role, he collaborates with faculty, staff, and community partners to support eligible students in pursuing careers in STEM fields and the licensed professions.
Andrew previously served as CSTEP Advisor at Mohawk Valley Community College, where he contributed to departmental accreditation work under the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. He completed an honors thesis fellowship with the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Partnership (ISEP) in Buffalo Public Schools focused on STEM education.
In 2016, he and colleagues received the Group Volunteer of the Year Award from the Genesis Group. Andrew holds a B.S. from the University at Buffalo and an M.B.A. from Canisius College.
