Get access to Mathematica and Wolfram|Alpha Pro

Mathematica is currently installed in the following locations:

Computer labs

  • All public and general labs

Computer clusters

  • The Mathemaatica license for SUNY Poly allows for grid computing on dedicated research clusters or in ad-hoc, or distributed, grid environments. For details, please contact Andy Dorsett at adorsett@wolfram.com.

To request Mathematica and Wolfram|Alpha Pro, follow the directions below.

Faculty, Staff, and Students

Create an account (New users only)

  1. Go to user.wolfram.com and click "Create Account"
  2. Fill out form using a @sunypoly.edu email, and click "Create Wolfram ID"
  3. Check your email and click the link to validate your Wolfram ID
  4. Request access to the product:
    Mathematica Wolfram|Alpha Pro
    For school-owned or personally-owned machines:
    1. Fill out this form to request an Activation Key. Use your @school.edu email when making your request.
    2. Click "Get Mathematica|Desktop" to request your Activation Key.
    3. Fill out forms multiple times for installations on multiple machines (need one key per machine)
    4. Follow instructions you receive in the email to download and activate Mathematica.
    1. Revisit this link to request access to Wolfram|Alpha Pro.
    2. Click "Get Wolfram|Alpha Pro" to request your subscription.
    3. Go to Wolfram|Alpha and click "Sign in" to access Wolfram|Alpha Pro
