Griffiss Institute President William Wolf said the program allows the area to continue to put itself at the forefront of innovation, which allows for more jobs and in turn attracts new people to the area.

“The intention is to keep the companies here, the idea being if the technology came from the lab, they establish a company here for a year, chances are they’re going to stay here because that’s where the technology is,” he said. “We’re working with SUNY Poly, we’re working with AFRL, we’re working with industry to continue and grow this.”
