The nearly 700 members of SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s Class of 2018 were recognized during the 44th annual commencement ceremonies over the weekend at the Wildcat Field House, the college announced.

The top three degrees that were awarded at the undergraduate ceremony Saturday included business administration, mechanical engineering technology, and nursing. The keynote speaker was Jennifer Oneal, studio head of Vicarious Visions, a video game developer.

It was preceded by a graduate commencement and hooding ceremony on Friday for master’s candidates. The keynote speaker was SUNY Poly interim Dean of Graduate Studies Shadi Shahedipour-Sandvik. The graduate degrees that were awarded to the most students included family nurse practitioner, computer & information science, and technology management.
