UTICA, NY – College Raptor recently released their 2024 Hidden Gems lists, with SUNY Polytechnic Institute being recognized in the “Hidden Gems in the Mid-East US” and “Most Affordable Hidden Gem Colleges for the Middle Class” categories. 

Furthermore, SUNY Poly was ranked second on the “Most Affordable Hidden Gem Colleges for the Middle Class” list, which featured 25 colleges and universities from across the nation. 

According to College Raptor, the Hidden Gems list spotlights exceptional colleges and universities that may not receive as much national recognition but still provide students with a high-quality academic experience. Factors including retention rates, graduation rates, student-to-faculty ratio, endowment per student, selectivity, and other metrics are all taken into consideration when developing their Hidden Gems lists.
