UTICA, NY - SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) has made Military Times’ recently released Best For Vets: Colleges 2023 list. 

Military Times explains that their Best for Vets: Colleges ranking looks at services available to veterans and practical information that will help veterans make important decisions about their career planning and how to use the education benefits they earned through military service.

Moreover, Military Times says that student success metrics (completion, retention, persistence, GPA, graduation) are the most important factor in determining the relative ranking of schools on this year’s list, followed closely by the range of military-specific resources and the level of financial assistance they offer. They add that admissions and registration policies, human resources and assorted miscellaneous considerations also factor into the scoring rubric.
