Cayuga Community College with be hosting author Lena Bertone for two special events. Bertone, the author of two books and currently a writing professor at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, will doing a reading the Auburn Campus on April 30 at 11 am, followed by a writing seminar at noon in the college library. And at the Fulton Campus on May 2, the reading and writing seminar begins at 11 in the Learning Commons Classroom. Both events are open to the public.

Bertone agreed to attend after receiving a request from the students in the Cayuga Creative Writing Club. Cayuga English Professor Mark Montgomery says that Bertone was chosen after the students reviewed the work of several writers, and found that Bertone's work spoke to them in a "wondrous" way. "
