GMAT Exam
The GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) is required of all applicants to the MBA and MS Accounting programs. The specific score required of an individual applicant is based on their undergraduate cumulative GPA.
The Department of Business Management follows the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) recommended admission guidelines: A total of 1,000 points based on 200 x undergraduate GPA + GMAT score. The minimum required score for admissions consideration is a 400 on the verbal and quantitative sections of the exam. The scores range from 200 to 800.
For more information about the GMAT, and to sign up to take it, visit www.mba.com. SUNY Polytechnic Institute school codes for GMAT score reporting: K6R-D6-24 MS Accounting | K6R-D6-26 MBA Note: Other standardized exams such as the GRE, LSAT and MCAT can be substituted for the GMAT.
