Why aren’t I receiving email invitations to events in my area?
We may not have your current contact information or you may have requested not to receive communication from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. If you would like to start receiving mail and emails from us, please contact us so we can update our records. You may also update your contact information using the Alumni Information Update form.
Can I use the Wildcat Field House facility?
SUNY Poly Alumni Association members and their families are eligible to purchase a membership for the Fitness Center at the Wildcat Field House. For more information, view the Fitness Center Affiliated Membership Application (PDF).
Can alumni visit campus?
Alumni, parents and friends of SUNY Polytechnic Institute are encouraged to visit the campus, either as the reason for their visit or as part of a trip to the Mohawk Valley. We hope you’ll consider a trip soon and check out the many reasons to visit campus.
Where is SUNY Poly’s Bookstore located?
The SUNY Poly Online Bookstore, powered by TextbookX, operates completely online and can be visited at sunypoly.textbookx.com. Students visit the website to order online and have their textbooks shipped to their home or to campus while digital course material access is emailed. The bookstore website is open 24/7 and textbooks for the upcoming terms are usually visible to students 4-6 weeks before the start of classes. It is recommend that students order their course materials 3-4 weeks before the term begins.

What are the benefits of being a SUNY Poly alumna/us?
Payment of the Alumni Fee results in lifetime membership in the SUNY Poly Alumni Association upon graduation. The Alumni Fee provides valuable benefits to students and alumni, including career networking, special events and access to multiple discounts and programs available only to Alumni Association members.

How do I update my contact information with SUNY Polytechnic Institute?
Whenever you have a change to your contact information (home or email address, job title, phone number, work address) visit the Update Your Information page.
How do I keep my SUNY Poly email address after I graduate?
As long as you change your password in Banner once a year, the email account will continue to be available. More information and guidelines can be found on the ITS email instructions page.
