Wind Power in Action: Build & Take Home Your Own Turbine

Ages: 12 – 18 years old

In this hands-on workshop, attendees will explore the science and engineering behind wind energy by building their own functional wind turbine - one they can take home! Participants will learn about renewable energy, the mechanics of harnessing wind power, and the role of turbines in a sustainable future. By the end of the session, students will have developed valuable STEM skills and a deeper understanding of clean energy solutions.

Quantum Games: Exploring Superposition Through Play

Participants will learn about quantum superposition, then put their skills to the test by playing Quantum Tic-Tac-Toe — a classic game with a quantum twist. Build a Bridge: Explore the World of Civil Engineering!

Thursday, April 17, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Ages: 11 – 16 years old

Dive into the exciting world of civil engineering in this hands-on workshop! Participants will learn how engineers design bridges to withstand various loads and conditions. The students will team up to design and build their own model bridge. Using everyday materials, they'll apply their own creativity and newly learned skills to construct a structure that can support weight. At the end of the workshop, the bridges will be tested to see how much they can hold — and crown the most innovative designs.

3D Printing & AI-Powered Modeling Camp

Tuesday-Thursday, April 22-24, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Ages: 12 – 18 years old

Explore AI-powered 3D design in this hands-on camp! Using Blender and AI tools, participants will create and optimize 3D models, then bring them to life by 3D printing them in SUNY Poly’s Additive Manufacturing Lab. Students will also tour the Interactive Media and Game Design (IMGD) Labs, discovering how 3D modeling applies to gaming, animation, and digital fabrication. By the end, they’ll take home their own 3D-printed creations and the skills to continue AI-assisted design independently.

Step into the world of innovation and explore the diverse careers waiting for you at Indium Corporation. Learn all about Indium Corporation, who they are, what they do, and the future opportunities they can offer students. In this workshop, students will rotate through interactive stations, each offering an in-depth look at key areas of the organization, including Mechanical Engineering, Technical Sales, Product Management, Business Operations, Software, and IT. Money Management Basics

Join us for a hands-on, interactive financial presentation designed to help students learn the basics of saving and budgeting, savings & checking accounts, the difference between wants versus needs, and setting SMART goals. Kids will leave with a better understanding of how money works, its importance, and how to make smart decisions. It’s never too early to learn good money management habits and prepping for that first paycheck or what to do with birthday cash.

Attendees will tackle real-world challenges in a workshop focused on resilience, learning to navigate stress, failure, and problem-solving with confidence. They'll dive into station-based challenges that build critical thinking, teamwork, and innovation. Students will also explore the fascinating link between music and math through rhythm exercises, using the Fibonacci sequence to bring creativity and logic into harmony. Perfect for curious minds, this camp offers a fun, dynamic experience that blends creativity with critical thinking.
