SUNY Polytechnic Institute is a member of the Cadence University Program which allows our students to learn and use Cadence products in their research activities. The programs are used in the design, testing, and simulation of innovative nano scale devices, circuits and other custom designs. The following Cadence products are used: Custom IC, Digital IC, and Verification.
Research Projects associated with Cadence products:
- CMOS and Derivative Technologies
- 3D TSV and Integrated Circuit Applications
- Steep Sub-threshold (SS) Slope Graphene p-n Junction (GPNJ) Devices
- Resistive Random-Access-Memory (RRAM) and Neural Network
- All Spin Logic (ASL) and Charge-Coupled Spin Logic (CSL)
- Biosensor Design
- SiC Power device design
- Wide bandgap power electronics technologies
