Abstract
The current research on pavement engineering including sustainable pavement materials, pavement recycling and preservation, nondestructive testing and evaluation, full scale accelerated pavement testing and instrumentation will be discussed in this talk. The application of impact resonant (IR) test in asphalt material testing and the findings will be summarized. Also, future research directions in VTRC will be discussed.
