Carly Pimpinella

Carly joined SUNY Polytechnic Institute in 2024 as a Student Ambassador and quickly expanded her work into enrollment communications and marketing projects. After advancing to a Student Assistant and then a temporary Enrollment Marketing and Communications Assistant, she transitioned into her current full-time Specialist role in September 2025. In this position, Carly supports the planning, development, and execution of multichannel communication and marketing strategies for prospective and admitted undergraduate, graduate, and international students.

Carly holds an AAS in Human Services from Mohawk Valley Community College and a BS in Community and Behavioral Health from SUNY Poly, where she received the College of Health Sciences Undergraduate Award and the Provost’s Award. She is also currently pursuing an MS in Information Design and Technology at SUNY Poly.

Having experienced firsthand how SUNY Poly’s multidisciplinary, polytechnic approach played a defining role in her academic and professional development, Carly is committed to ensuring incoming students begin their journey with that same sense of support, creativity, and possibility.
