Responsibilities
As a Safety Equipment Engineer, Mr. Hellman is responsible for the review of drawings and plans for construction of new facilities, semi-conductor tools and support to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations. He also participates in the evaluation and approval of new or modified facilities, semi-conductor tools and support equipment with respect to site and applicable regulatory standards.
He is responsible for the review of third party SEMI S2/S8/S14 evaluations, HAZOP and/or risk assessments, recommending safety features and/or engineering solutions to reduce employees' exposure to chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
Mr. Hellman serves as the Laser Safety Officer and Radiation Safety Officer.
