Mr. Mazzatti completed his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science at the State University of New York Institute of Technology, Utica, NY. Mike has over 40 years industrial experience, starting his career at Laser Precision in Utica. Mike has focused on Photonics Test and Measurement development from the first OTDR at Laser Precision, as well as directing the development of photonics programs at Corning Incorporated Photonics Technology Division, ILX Lightwave, and Fiber Instrument Sales. Mike co-founded Terahertz Technologies Inc. in 1989, and recently has been focusing on developing and managing the accelerated expansion of the Fiber Optic Test and Measurement product line. Mike has been lecturing at SUNYIT/POLY since 2011 and directs the engineering communications disciplines including Microprocessor, Fiber Optics, Electronics, Data and Optical Communications coursework. Mr. Mazzatti finds enjoyment sharing his experiences with the engineering students and mentors internships at his facility and throughout the state.
