Regarding Faculty and Staff Machines
The Help Desk is restricted from working on faculty/staff machines not owned by SUNY Polytechnic Institute. The Help Desk will provide support for the business and work efforts of SUNY Polytechnic Institute employees. However, any support in this regard will be limited to telephone or remote connection support for only SUNY Polytechnic Institute supplied software and services connected with the employee's job responsibilities such as:
- Work-at-home VPN issues dealing with connection to SUNY Polytechnic Institute
- Symantec AntiVirus installation issues
- Work-at-home Microsoft Office installation issues
- Brightspace D2L login issues
- SITNET and NetID password issues
