The NYS & CSEA Partnership for Education and Training is pleased to announce the fall 2016 Adult Education Basics (AEB) Regional Programs for CSEA Capital Region 4 (Albany), and CSEA Central Region 5 (Syracuse).

The AEB Regional Programs use an exciting immersion approach to help CSEA-represented New York State employees improve current job-related knowledge, learn new skills for improved work performance, and enhance their learning capacity. It also helps employees to master skills in everyday life and instill confidence in their work and personal lives.

Employees who apply for the AEB Regional Programs will have their reading, writing, language, and math skills assessed. Based on the results of their assessment, employees will be placed in a 78-hour, 13-session AEB skills course that will begin in the early fall.

Please see the attached promotional flyers and application forms if you are interested. Additionally, you may view this training opportunity at the Partnership’s website at www.nyscseapartnership.org .

All employees must receive supervisory approval to attend courses unless the courses are held on the employee’s pass days. The registration deadline for the AEB Regional Programs is August 8, 2016, so you are encouraged to register soon as classes fill quickly.

If you have any questions about the AEB Regional Program, please call Ms. Gary Bartolina Campbell at (518) 486-7814 or email: learning@nyscseapartnership.org .
