Dear Colleagues,
I would like to request you to donate some books to “Books for International Goodwill” (B.I.G.) (www.big-books.org). B.I.G., accepts college texts, children books, and non-fiction books for libraries. It is an ongoing project, so books can be sent at any time.
The B.I.G., Project begun in 1994 by the Parole Rotary Club (www. parole-rotary.org) of Annapolis, MD. It is currently an independent non-profit entity, whose motto is "Spreading Literacy by Keeping Books Alive." BIG has shipped over 5 million books since its formation to poor communities overseas, as well as to Indian Reservations and communities recovering from natural disasters.
Books can be sent via US mail (media rate) costing about $15 for a Xerox paper sized box. UPS is also OK. Please send books directly to the following mailing address.
