We are seeking an individual to work directly with a new SUNYIT student on the Autism Spectrum.  This person will assist with certain aspects of campus transition including, but not limited to, campus navigation, maintaining a schedule/agenda, organizational skills, and engagement in campus life.  This person would work closely with our family to help build foundations of respect, confidence, and structure.  In this position you will be required to attend trainings through Springbrook (in Oneonta) and adhere to Springbrook policies and procedures.  The expected hours will be approximately 5 to 10 hours per week.  You will be paid for all necessary training, including mileage, and the salary is $13.00 per hour.  The student will be entering SUNYIT Fall 2013, however the position will require some hours prior to the start of term.  Please email a brief summary of your qualifications, including three references.  All references will be checked.  Please contact Peter French at pjf09@yahoo.com.
