Professor Arjun Singh Offers Insight in WUTR: '5G service rollout causes concern for airlines'

"Verizon and AT&T launched their 5G service today. However, the companies agreed to temporarily limit the rollout of the service within two miles of key airports because the federal aviation networks could disrupt radio altimeters which allow pilots to gauge their altitude above a terrain. This is particularly important when planes land in poor weather or when helicopters operate at low altitudes.
