REMINDER: Please RSVP for Faculty Workshops by 8/18

Colleagues,
As we begin the new academic year, I invite and welcome ALL faculty to participate in the 2017 Faculty Workshop programs that are listed in the attached tri-fold brochure. Specifically, I would like to call your attention to:
- Applied Learning & Outcomes Assessment
- Information and Learning Resources
- Student Advising & Student Success
- Student Affairs: Partners for Success
- Teaching Excellence
The High Impact Learning and Teaching (HILT) Team is sponsoring sessions on applied learning and outcomes assessment on Day 1; and Human Resources, Governance and Student Affairs sessions will be held on Day 2. The Student Affairs session is open to and recommended for ALL new employees and provides a great sense of the breadth of SUNY Poly's opportunities and services available to our students. Day 3 is composed of workshops that I hope will stimulate your thoughts regarding teaching excellence and dedication to our students' success. For those of you who have attended previously, you may notice that some events have been omitted from the schedule. These topics will be covered in focused sessions throughout the fall.
Please submit your RSVP by August 18 with the Google Form (Link is below) for the sessions that you would like to attend. For those who may not be able to attend in person, most offerings will be available electronically, via WebEx. Please contact Liz Crane for the connection information.
