Spring 2016 Blackboard courses will be created on November 16. Development shells for online (W, S) and hybrid (H) courses will be created next week. Faculty teaching traditional courses may request development shells via an IT Support ticket (helpdesk.sunypoly.edu).

Reminders: 

• Requests to merge courses are requested via the Blackboard Section Consolidation Request form.

• Faculty should get their course ready for the semester in a development shell they own rather than the official semester course. In the event that a course is reassigned to a different instructor, the previous instructor will lose access to the official semester course. The content can be copied into the semester course a few days before the class begins. (Course Copy video).

• Student access to semester courses in Blackboard begins on the official course start date. There is no more early access for online and hybrid courses.

• Faculty can provide early access to the course syllabus via SUNY Poly e-mail. (instructions to email students)
