SUNY Poly Research Associate for NanoHealth Initiatives and Assignee to CDC-NIOSH Nicole Neu-Baker was involved in the development and writing of the recently published ASTM Standard Guide for Visualization and Identification of Nanomaterials in Biological and Nonbiological Matrices Using Darkfield Microscopy/Hyperspectral Imaging (DFM/HSI).

This Standard Guide will serve as a valuable resource for the microscopy and nanomaterials research communities. Hyperspectral microscopy work conducted by SUNY Poly researchers is cited throughout, including research supported by NIOSH through an Interagency Personnel Assignment awarded to Ms. Neu-Baker as part of a long-standing collaboration between SUNY Poly and NIOSH.
