Upstate Accelerated Scholars Program

SUNY Upstate Medical University has notified SUNY Polytechnic Institute of their decision to conclude the Upstate Accelerated Scholarship program to new applicants effective immediately. 
This decision was reached after much research, review and discussion and reflects a strategic alignment of medical school enrollment efforts.   

Upstate's decision to end the UAS program is not a reflection on the UAS partner schools or the UAS students enrolled in those institutions. In fact, leaders at Upstate Medical University assure SUNY Poly that preparation through our Community and Behavioral Health program and our comprehensive Pre-Health advisement have ultimately prepared current SUNY Poly students enrolled in Upstate's College of Medicine for success.
