Dear SUNY Poly Faculty and Staff:
As you likely already know, SUNY Poly will be hosting a Summer Spotlight Series that will include a variety of events, workshops, and kids' camps. This series will provide many fun opportunities for faculty and staff to work/volunteer.
Because many of these programs will involve children, it is necessary and important that we comply with the SUNY-wide Child Protection Policy. Anyone who plans to host or who might be interested in working or volunteering at a University-sponsored youth (any child under the age of 17) program or activity, must take the mandatory SUNY Poly Youth Protection Policy Training prior to the program or activity taking place.
πTo take this brief Youth Protection Policy Training β and help SUNY Poly reach the mandatory trained staff-to-child ratios β please click here.
The Office of University Conferencing and Events (UCE) will be reaching out soon to connect with faculty and staff about opportunities to work part of a shift or volunteering at one of the Summer Spotlight Series Camps (if your availability allows and with prior supervisor approval). We encourage you to take this training now so you will be ready!
If you have any questions or for more information, please contact Bill Dustin at bill.dustin@sunypoly.edu.
