The Gannett Gallery has a new show of student works entitled "The Measurement of Art and The Art of Measurement", which includes works from students in Art and Culture (IDS 102-02) and Science, Technology, and Human Values: Metrics and Measurement (IDS 103-03).
The exhibit explores the questions "Do social contexts create the systems that measure phenomena?" and "Do measurement systems shape our perceptions and experiences?"
The show will be on display until December 15, and there will be two opening receptions:
Mon. Dec. 4, Noon-2 p.m. and Tues. Dec. 5, 10 a.m.-Noon.
