We are now accepting nominations for the 2024 Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence.  

This award recognizes outstanding students who have integrated excellence with other aspects of their lives, with special achievement in at least THREE of the following areas: Academic Excellence; Leadership; Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Justice; Campus Involvement/Community Service; Research & Development; or the Arts (creative or performing)  

The deadline for submitting nominations is January 12, 2024. Only students graduating with a degree between June 2023 and May 2024 will be considered.

We ask that nominations include a brief bio on the student and a short summary of accomplishments in the specific areas identified above. Once the nominations are submitted, we will follow up with the nominees for additional information. Please send your nomination(s) to Diana DiPrimo (diprimd@sunypoly.edu)

A committee made up of staff and faculty will review all nominations and recommend candidates to the President. Following the Presidential review, the nominations will be forwarded to SUNY for final consideration. The student(s) who are selected will be invited to an award ceremony to be held April 2024.
