Ryan Eddy, a Mohawk Valley native, is a Financial Aid Advisor on the Financial Aid team. He’s been at SUNY Poly since 2023. In his role, Ryan is responsible for counseling students on financial aid options, including federal and state loans and grants, and working with students to ensure compliance with all federal and state aid requirements. 

Prior to joining the SUNY Poly family, Ryan spent time as a high school social studies teacher, in addition to various roles in training, quality assurance, operations management, and real estate finance. His diverse employment experiences help him to relate to a diverse array of students. Ryan’s favorite part about working at SUNY Poly is serving the students and being a part of their team that helps students achieve their educational and career goals. 

Ryan holds a BS in Secondary Education: Social Studies from SUNY Oneonta and a MS in Education: Literacy in the Content Areas from Walden University.
