SCT Banner is SUNY Poly's central information system for all student, alumni, faculty and staff data. Everyone uses it to update their SITNet ID security question & answer, and personal contact information (i.e. phone number, address, alternate email address, emergency contact, etc.).
- Students use it to register for courses, obtain class schedules, check grades, and access other services like health waivers and financial aid.
- Faculty use Banner for advisement, to obtain class rosters, and submit grades.
The first time a student, faculty or staff member logs in to Banner, the SITNet ID activation begins.
