SUNY Polytechnic Institute, GlobalFoundries and BessTech are among the companies traveling from Albany, New York to San Francisco for the SEMICON West conference this week.

The annual trade show runs July 14 through July 16 in San Francisco. It brings together some of the biggest names in the semiconductor industry, including Applied Materials, GlobalFoundries, Intel, TSMC and Samsung. Supply chain vendors, entrepreneurs, analysts and scientists will showcase products and applications and present research to attendees from around the world.
