The SUNYIT Baja SAE team will host its 5th annual auto show on Sunday, May 5, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Student Center Parking lot on the SUNYIT campus. New events and categories this year include: lowest, tallest, loudest, and muddiest vehicle, a tire toss, and a car smash. Registration, $10 per vehicle, will be from 10 a.m. until noon, with judging and events from noon till 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Each year, the SUNYIT SAE student team designs, builds, and tests a rugged off-road Baja vehicle, competing in regional and national competitions against colleges and universities from around the world. SUNYIT team members raise money through the auto show and other activities each year to fund their activities.
