I wanted to share an article with you from the Albany Business Review:

Alain Kaloyeros, CEO and officer in charge of SUNY Polytechnic Institute, formerly College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, Monday will discuss the educational and economic impacts of nanotechnology on New York state.

The question-and-answer-style event, which is part of the research and engineering college's "NANOvember" month, is designed to facilitate discussion between school officials and the community about the growth of the nanotechnology industry in the state. The event is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the school's NanoTech Complex on Fuller Road in Albany, New York.

More than $20 billion has been invested in the nanoschool expansions across the state. The school, which has more than 3,500 employees, has helped transform the state and the Albany region, bonding education to companies like GlobalFoundries.
