Good Morning!

We continue our Campus Fire Safety Month with some more ways to be aware of how to be fire safe.

Fire Safe Practices

  • Hallways must be kept clear at all times.  Furniture and personal belongings such as bicycles, trunks, boxes, and drying racks may not be placed in the hallways.
  • Bicycles are prohibited in buildings.  They should be stored only in designated bike storage areas.
  • Flammable and combustible liquid such as gasoline, turpentine, charcoal lighter fluid, liquid propane tanks or cylinders, and self-starting charcoal are prohibited from being stored in buildings.
  • Do not leave food unattended in the microwave or on any stove.

Please email the EHS office at SUNYPOLYEHS@sunypoly.edu if you have any questions.
