Dear SUNY Poly Students:

The 2016 Convocation Ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 1, beginning at 12:15 p.m. in the Wildcat Field House. The speaker will be John Zogby, founder of John Zogby Strategies.

All students are invited to participate in this event, as we welcome the Class of 2020 to SUNY Poly. All first year students are required to attend. Convocation not only represents the formal start of the academic year; it is also a symbol of our opportunities for growth as a learning community, and as a new and unique academic institution.

Students are asked to arrive at theWildcat Field House by Noon,Convocation will begin with a formal procession of faculty at 12:15 p.m. Following the ceremony, Sodexo will serve lunch outside the Field House.

The start of the fall semester is a busy time for all and this event is an important way to celebrate and welcome the newest members of the SUNY Poly community. Please plan to attend and participate.
