We are pleased to announce the next speaker in our Open SUNY Center for Online Teaching Excellence (COTE) Community "Fellow Chat" series.

Thomas Slomka, Instructional Support Specialist at the University at Buffalo, will be featured in the next COTE Fellow Chat. Thomas will share what he knows about "The Development and Implementation of an Enterprise Assessment Service." This chat, in our Cool Tools & Emerging Learning Environments theme, is intended to showcase and share the innovative development or uses of tools and technologies from members of our community, and to support networking, interaction, and excellence in online teaching and learning practices.

This event will take place online on Wednesday, September 23 at 12:00 PM eastern. The live 20-minute lunchtime chat will be followed by a real time online sharing session, where participants will be invited to ask questions, share resources, and share what they know on the topic. You can follow the event on Twitter through @OpenSUNY and the hashtag #COTEchat.

We have produced "COTE NOTE" as a companion resource for the Chat, to promote this event, and for you to learn more about this topic.

This event requires registration, but is open to all free of charge, so please share this invitation broadly with anyone you feel may be interested. If you are unable to join the live presentation, each program in the series will be recorded. Registration and access information for the event and the recording is appended below.

We are very excited to share this Open SUNY COTE Community event with you and hope you will be able to join us for the next Fellow Chat on September 23!
