SUNY Poly - Utica's Environmental Health & Safety Office has scheduled several training sessions during the last week of September 2016.  These trainings are being offered to all staff, faculty, and student workers of SUNY Poly - Utica.  Trainings will cover required Hazard Communication / Right-to-Know and Bloodborne Pathogen Program information.

Hazard Communication / Right To Know trainings are required for all new employees and refreshers will be available to all employees who have previously attended training.

Bloodborne Pathogen Programtraining is required annually for all employees who have a potential Occupational Exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.  The job classifications for this exposure would include Facilities staff, Police, Res Life staff, Custodial and Grounds staff, Athletics Department staff (e.g. trainers, coaches, Fitness Center staff), Health & Wellness Center staff, and any other individuals performing job duties that may result in a potential exposure.  In addition, others may wish to attend so they can be familiar with the issues related to Bloodborne Pathogens.

The following dates, times and locations have been reserved for these training sessions.  The training sessions may take all or part of the noted time period.  Please review and email your desired day and time of attendance.  We would like to accommodate as many as possible in each session, but some rooms have limited space, so please reserve your spot by emailing Sean Clive at clives@sunypoly.edu.

If you have not attended a Hazard Communication / Right-to-Know training in the past 12 months, please plan on attending one of these sessions.  If your schedule does not allow or if the sessions fill up, a dditional training sessions will be scheduled in the future.

**Supervisors - Please allow staff to attend these training sessions.  We have provided a variety of times to accommodate most schedules.  If your department or office would like to schedule a special time for all office employees, please email SUNYPOLYEHS@sunypoly.edu and request a special training session at the Utica campus.  We ask that these special requests involve at least 10 employees.
