Fuller Road Management Corporation Welcomes New Vice President for Administration

Patricia Bucklin Brings Wealth of Administrative Experience to FRMC as it Continues to Enable RegionalHigh-Tech Growth for SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering

Albany, NY – Further supporting Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s leadership making New York State the epicenter for advanced technology-based research, development, commercialization, and education, Fuller Road Management Corporation (FRMC) announced today that Patricia K. Bucklin, Esq. has been appointed FRMC Vice President for Administration. She brings extensive administrative experience to the position after previously working for 13 years as Executive Director of the New York State Bar Association, as well as Executive Director of Pro Bono Affairs for the New York State Office of Court Administration and First Assistant Counsel to Governor Mario M. Cuomo.

At the 75,000 member New York State Bar Association, Bucklin supervised a staff of 110 and a $25 million budget and worked closely with the Association's officers, governing bodies and 100 sections and committees. In addition to her most recent role at the New York State Office of Court Administration, she held positions there as Director of Public Affairs and Intergovernmental Affairs Counsel. A graduate of Syracuse University College of Law and an Editor of the Law Review, Bucklin began her career at the New York Court of Appeals where she served as Chief Law Assistant. She is a Fellow of the New York and American Bar Foundations, a member of the Albany County, New York State and American Bar Associations, and is active in the Forum for Executive Women.

As FRMC Vice President for Administration, Bucklin will work closely with FRMC President and Chief Administrative Officer Jerry Barber and play an enabling role in ensuring that FRMC achieves its mission as it provides a platform for the rapid expansion of New York State’s nanotechnology-based economy. She expects to develop, implement, and monitor a three-year FRMC strategic plan; help to formulate the annual operating plan; and design and oversee governance procedures and management reporting regarding the fiscal and program status of contracts and grants in support of FRMC projects.
