If you are a graduate student in the Nursing Education, IDT or CIS program, please consider participating in the NSF STEM Mentoring Project for Fall 2014 semester. Participants may take a 3-credit course at no charge through Empire State College; they also act as mentors in an area after-school program in a STEM Topic. Mentors are trained and paired with another graduate student for 12 hours of mentoring.
This program has a positive impact on the school children as well as the mentors. To apply for the program, contact Elizabeth Rossi in the Office of Continuing Professional Education and Sponsored Research: X7383 or seer@sunypoly.edu.
